One day Lulu was getting ready to go for a bicycle ride. She put on her helmet and took her bicycle outside. She rode past the park and reached a large parking lot. The parking lot was empty today, and there were no cars parked there. Instead, Lulu saw that there were some artists drawing things on the ground.

Lulu got off her bicycle and walked up to the artists. She asked them what they were making. They told her that they were making different designs with paint. Then they told Lulu that she could also join them if she wanted. Lulu said she would like to do that. She wondered what she could make.

The artists gave Lulu a can of paint, and a paintbrush. Lulu walked to a blank spot in the parking lot and she took the lid off the can of paint. She dipped the paintbrush into the paint and started to draw a circle. Then she drew short lines coming out of the circle, and this represented the sun.

Then she drew some wavy lines into the shape of some bubbles. And this represented some clouds. Then she drew some straight lines and a triangle shape above the line. And this represented some trees. Lulu looked around at what some of the other artists were making.

She saw one artist moving walking along the whole length of the parking Then Lulu had an idea to try something different. She went to her bicycle and brought it over. Then she picked up the can of paint, and put the lid back on it. Then she asked one of the artists to poke a hole in the bottom of the can of paint.

Next Lulu put the strap of the can of paint on her bicycle handlebars. Then she started riding her bicycle and the can of paint was dripping small amounts of paint onto the ground. Lulu rode her bicycle in a large circle in the parking lot, and the can of paint dripped paint in the shape that Lulu rode.

She rode in smaller circles, making a spiral shape. Then all of a sudden Lulu heard some barking. There was a loose dog that got away from its owner who was walking it. The dog ran onto the parking lot and started to chase Lulu. And Lulu began riding her bicycle off the parking lot to get away from the dog.

The dog kept barking and chasing Lulu on her bicycle. And Lulu continued riding her bicycle, making lots of turns on different streets, trying to go faster than the dog. Finally the dog stopped chasing Lulu, and it ran away until Lulu couldn’t see it anymore. Now Lulu didn’t know where she was, because she was riding very fast, and she had gone very far from the parking lot.

Then Lulu looked at the ground and she saw that there was a line of paint that showed where she had come from. Because the can of paint hanging on Lulu’s bicycle handlebars had dripped paint the whole time she was riding. Now all Lulu had to do was follow the line of paint on the ground, until it led her back to the parking lot.

By now the can of paint became empty. Lulu gave the empty can of paint, and the paintbrush back to the artist. She told them that the paint had dripped all around the streets that she rode on. They laughed and said that was okay. It would eventually wash away.

Now it was time for Lulu to go back home. She rode her bicycle back home, and part of the way back she could see her painted line on the ground. When Lulu reached home, she got ready for dinner. After eating dinner, she got ready for bed. Lulu brushed her teeth, and laid down and went to sleep, slowly slowly slowly.
